Union Pasta House Raises $1,200 for Team Alec

UPDATE: March 3... Total amount of money donated has not surpassed $14,000.

UNION, MO. - Tuesday the Union Pasta House took 10% of their sales and donated them to Team Alec, which will go to the St. Baldrick's Foundation.  At the end of the night the total amount raised was $1,200.

If you were there that evening you would have seen Alec waiting tables and working hard, but more so an example of how he has the ability to inspire others in a way rarely seen.

Alec Ingram, who has been the inspiration behind Team Alec and raising money for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation event at Helen Fitzgerald's this Saturday.

The 11-year-old who is battling cancer, focuses his time between chemo treatments on raising as much money for his team. His goal began at $5,000 and now has surpassed over $11,000.

More importantly all the money he has inspired others to help raise does not go to him but to finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Here is our interview with Alec this morning at the Union Pasta House where this evening he will even be helping serve tables.
