Franklin County Sheriff's Office to Participate in Upcoming Drunk Driving Crackdown

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is joining in on the National Fourth of July Holiday Crackdown to reduce drunk driving fatalities.  They will be out in force during the nationwide campaign.  The crackdown will involve high visibility enforcement from June 30th through July 4th.  The goal is to create a comprehensive campaign to curb substance-impaired driving over the Fourth of July holiday.  Franklin County Deputies will be aggressively looking for substance impaired drivers during the crackdown, and will arrest anyone caught driving impaired.  Being arrested for driving under the influence of any substance brings a wide range of negative consequences into one’s life.  Substance impaired drivers face jail time, loss of their driver’s license, and steep financial consequences.  For more information on the crackdown visit saveMOlives.org.
