Franklin County Sheriff's Department to Host Law Enforcement Training Class

Being a cop can be one of the most dangerous and most rewarding jobs there is.  There is always a demand for more members of law enforcement.  As a result, the Missouri Sheriffs’ Association will be hosting a part-time 700 Hour Basic Law Enforcement Training Class at the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office in Union.  The training class will begin on January 9th and will run through November 2018.  Classes will meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 10 pm and every Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm.  There will also be some select Sunday sessions.  Tuition for the course costs $5,000, along with a $275 processing fee and a $43 background check.  Financial aid and college credits for the class are available through Columbia College.  For more information visit mosheriffs.com or call 573-635-9644.
