St. Louis Man Charged Following Interstate 44 Chase

Warrants have been obtained against a St. Louis man who led local authorities on a car chase and a manhunt.  The suspect, 31-year old Dylan Wilson of St. Louis is charged with stealing a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident, and felony resisting arrest.  His bond has been set at $20,000.  The incident occurred at 7:40 am on Wednesday when a silver Lexus SUV driven by Wilson passed a Franklin County Detective on Interstate 44 near the 236 mile marker.  A chase ensued and eventually ended when Wilson attempted to crossover onto the South Service Road and overturned.  Wilson alluded capture by fleeing into the nearby woods.  Following the wreck it was discovered the SUV was stolen from Manchester.  At around 2:15 pm on Wednesday multiple citizens reported seeing Wilson near Springfield and Anaconda Roads in St. Clair.  He was apprehended a short while later by troopers and St. Clair police.\
