Church Safety Seminar to be Held in Union

The events of the recent church shooting in Sutherland Springs, Texas are fresh in many Americans minds.  Many communities and police departments have begun offering church safety classes in the event of such a tragedy repeating itself.  This includes, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and Badge of Hope Ministries.  The two groups are teaming up to host a Church Safety Seminar in Union on Saturday, January 27th.  The event will be held at the Franklin County Baptist Association in Union from 8 am to noon.  Organizers will discuss a wide range of topics during the seminar including church security and how to equip a congregation.  The cost to attend the seminar is $20 per person or $100 for a group of up to eight people.
