The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Franklin County Department of Health, Gerald Police Department, Sullivan Police Department, and Missouri State Park Rangers all recently participated in the Shop with a Cop program. The event took place on Saturday morning at the Wal Mart in Sullivan. Local kids got to meet an officer and pick out their Christmas gifts. After the kids finished shopping there was a lunch at Dairy Queen and each kid was given a box of groceries to take home with their parents. A total of 23 families were assisted thanks to this shop with a cop event.
