Gray Summit in Custody Following Strong Armed Robbery

A gray Summit man has been arrested and charged following a Strong Armed Robbery in Franklin County.  The incident occurred early Thursday morning in the 200 block of Hill Drive in Gray Summit.  Two 16-year old men and one 18-year old man had allegedly gone to a residence on Hill Drive to purchase narcotics.  When they contacted the suspect he entered their vehicle, took their car keys and threatened them if they didn’t hand over their money.  The victims claim the suspect stole $850 in cash from them and returned their car keys.  The three victims were able to flee the area and call 911.  Franklin County Deputies went to the residence and were able to quickly take the suspect into custody.  The suspect, 19-year old Travis Green of Gray Summit is facing charges of 2nd degree robbery and fourth degree assault.  His bond has been set at $40,000 cash only.
