Missouri Department of Agriculture Issues Temporary Ban on Dicamba Products

Missouri Director of Agriculture Chris Chinn has issued an immediate Stop Sale, Use or Removal Order on all products containing Dicamba in Missouri.  All on-farm applications of Dicamba must also cease immediately.  The order requires all pesticide distributors and retailers to stop all sales and offers on all Dicamba products labeled for agricultural use.  Since January 1st the Missouri Department of Agriculture has received over 130 pesticide drift complaints believed to be related to Dicamba.  This has caused damage to thousands of acres of crops throughout the Show-Me State.  The removal order on Dicamba is temporary until a more permanent solution is reached.  For more information on the ongoing issue with Dicamba visit agriculture.mo.gov/dicamba
