Franklin County Bridge to be Named After Slain MODOT Worker

The Highway 100 bridge over Big Boeuf Creek in Franklin County has officially been named the Lyndon D. Ebker Memorial Bridge.  This comes after Missouri Governor Eric Greitens signed Senate Bill 64 to memorialize the bridge for Ebker.  Ebker was part of a crew working on the bridge back on April 7th, 2016 when he was struck and killed by a motorist.  Since 2000, 18 MODOT employees have lost their lives in the line of duty.  The legislation to name the bridge after Ebker was sponsored by Senator Dave Schatz of Sullivan and co-sponsored by Representative Justin Alferman of Hermann.
