Class 5 District 5 at Eureka
Semifinal-Washington overcame a sluggish start to post a 52-32 win over the Francis Howell Vikings. Jackie Arnold pumped in 18 points and pulled down nine rebounds and Kyra Hardesty added 14 points and six assists to lead the Lady Jays. Nichole Brinker posted eight points and Reese Arnold chipped in seven points and seven rebounds. The Vikings end the season 14-14. They were led by Lexy Pelligrini with 12 points and Tionne Taylor with 11. Washington advances to the championship game Thursday night with a 24-3 record. They will face Lafayette who beat Eureka 54-50.
Class 4 District 6 at St. Clair
Semifinals-Pacific jumped out to a 15-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back in a 65-33 win over Borgia. Caroline Rogers drained 20 points and reached one thousand for her high school career. Kyndra Morgan added 17 and Devon Fleming chipped in 10 as the Indians moved to 23-4 on the season. Borgia was led by Cassidy Moss with 10 points and six rebounds. The Lady Knights end the season 16-11.
Clare Shetley drained 22 points leading Sullivan to a 57-36 win over St. Clair. Mallory Shetley added 12 and Emma Randolph nine for the Eagles, now 18-8. St. Clair ends the season 15-12. The Lady Bulldogs were led by Macayln LaCrone with 13 points. She also grabbed three rebounds. Megan Hinson posted four assists and three rebounds.
Pacific and Sullivan will meet in the championship game Friday night.
Class 4 District 11 at Osage
Semifinal-Osage 66 Owensville 52. The Dutchgirls end the season 9-17.
Class 4 District 8 at Wentzville-Liberty
Opening Round-The season ended for the Warrenton Warriors with a 60-54 loss to St. Dominic. Trevor Alberternst pumped in 15 points followed by Randy McRoberts with 13 and Brenden Smith with 11. Warrenton closes with an 18-8 record while the Crusaders advance to the semifinal with an 8-18 record.
