Jared Woodcock hit the game tying shot at the end of regulation and at the end of the first overtime and Sullivan came back from a 12 point deficit to knock off the Pacific Indians 68-66 in double overtime. Woodcock led all scorers with 24 points. Caleb Stack added 21. Sullivan overcame a poor night from the floor where they shot 33 percent. They shot twice as many free throws as Pacific and shot 55 percent from the line. The top seeded Eagles advance to the championship game with a 20-6 record. Jacob Klenke led the Indians with 16 points, surpassing one thousand for his high school career, finishing with 1,002. He was followed by Trey Boyer with 14 and Cameron VanLeer with 12. Pacific ends the season 18-9.
Alex Movila drained 23 points leading Borgia to a 61-44 win over the Parkway West Longhorns. Hunter Mehler added 18 and Gus Kleekamp 15 for the Knights, now 17-10. Wyatt Yess was held without a point in the first half, but still scored 14 for the Longhorns. Jack Swiney added 12. Parkway West ends the season 19-7. They struggled from the floor, shooting just 25 percent and from the line where they shot 38-percent. Borgia shot 47 percent from the floor and 48 percent from the line.
Borgia and Sullivan will meet in the championship game Friday night at 7:00.
