Mount St. Mary's is moving on to the Round of 64 in the NCAA Tournament. Junior Robinson scored 23 points as the Mountaineers nipped New Orleans 67-66 in the First Four in Dayton, Ohio. Miles Wilson added 17 points and 11 rebounds for Mount St. Mary's, which will take on defending champion and top overall seed Villanova in the East Regional Thursday in Buffalo. Nate Frye scored 18 points to pace the Privateers, who were just 1-of-9 from three. They finish the season 20-and-12.
Kansas State is moving on to the Round of 64 in the NCAA Tournament. Wesley Iwundu scored 24 points as the Wildcats pulled away down the stretch to top Wake Forest 95-88 in the First Four in Dayton, Ohio. Kamau Stokes added 22 points for Kansas State, which will battle sixth-seed Cincinnati in the South Regional Friday in Sacramento. John Collins paced the Demon Deacons with 26 points. Bryant Crawford scored 20 with 10 assists in defeat. Wake Forest finishes the season at 19-and-14.
