Evan Grayson pitched a complete game four hitter with 12 strike outs and no walks leading St. James to a 2-0 conference win over Union. Drew Bouse singled in two runs in the third and Grayson did the rest as the Tigers improved to 7-2 overall and 3-0 in the Four Rivers Conference. Bobby Curnutte suffered the loss. Union drops to 10-7 and 2-1.
Hermann jumped out to a 4-1 lead in the first inning and never looked back in a 9-1 win over St. Clair at the Hermann City Park. Dakota Hackmann pitched six and two/thirds innings and gave up one run on one hit with six strike outs and six walks for the win. Hunter Scheidegger was 2 for 3 at the plate with three rbi's and a run scored. Hermann improves to 4-6 while St. Clair drops to 1-6.
Borgia's winning streak has reached six games following a 10-8 road win at Francis Howell. The Knights jumped out to a 7-2 lead in the first inning and held on for the win. Matt Piontek pitched five innings for the win and Eli Marquart closed it out in the seventh. Quenton Poepsel posted three hits including an inside the park home run in the first and Marquart, Hunter and Heggemann had two hits apiece. Borgia moves to 7-6 while the Vikings drop to 9-7.
Sullivan broke open the game with nine runs in the second inning and cruised to a 14-1 five inning victory over New Haven. Ryan McKinney pitched a complete game three hitter with seven strike outs and six walks. Seth Johanning, Tim Waller and Jared Woodcock finished with two rbi's apiece and Dane Hartman scored three runs. Sullivan moves to 9-4 while New Haven drops to 0-8.
Warrenton Tournament-Red Division-Hermann was first with a 295. St. Charles was second with a 316 and Union third with a 323. Warrenton fifth-332, Pacific sixth-340 and St. Clair eighth with a 351. Top Individual was Ross Henson of Hermann with an even par 70. White Division-Borgia captured the title with a 296. Washington took fourth with a 316. Sullivan sixth-333. Top individual was Tommy Alferman with a three under 67. Austin Hoerstkamp of Borgia won the long drive competition with a 325 yard bomb.

Cuba Relays. Boys-St. James took first with 146 points. Girls-New Haven was first with 113 points followed by St. James with 111.
Hillsboro Tournament-Zoe Gaszak, Leah Hill and Sommer Schneider all scored leading St. Clair to a 3-1 victory over Fredericktown. Kenzie Schmidtke was the winning keeper. The Bulldogs move to 8-5-1.
Megan Pondrom scored three goals leading Sullivan to a 7-0 win over St. James. Emma Randolph added two goals for the Eagles, now 7-5 overall and 3-1 in the Four Rivers Conference.
Five different girls scored leading St. Charles to a 5-0 win over Warrenton.
Cassidy Nurnberger posted the unassisted goal as Washington edged Fort Zumwalt East 1-0. Katie Baer made five saves in net.
