Cardinals Sweep Pirates With Third Straight 2-1 Decision

The Cardinals posted their third consecutive 2-1 win over the Pirates to sweep the three-game series at Busch Stadium.  Michael Wacha tossed six-and-two-thirds innings of one-run ball to improve to 2-and-1.  Trevor Rosenthal closed it out for his first save.  Dexter Fowler homered in the third and fifth innings for the Cards, who are 6-and-9 on the young season.  Josh Bell went deep in the fourth for the Bucs' only run.  Gerrit Cole gave up the two homers over six frames to fall to 1-and-2 with the loss.  Pittsburgh is also 6-and-9 overall.
