Cardinals Slam Down Royals Again

Dexter Fowler hit a seventh-inning grand slam and drove in five runs as the Cardinals topped the Royals 8-6 in St. Louis to sweep the four-game series.  Trevor Rosenthal logged a four-out save.  The Cardinals have won six straight, matching their season high, and moved within a game of the division-leading Chicago Cubs.  Lorenzo Cain had four of the 12 Kansas City hits.  Melky Cabrera had a two-run triple as the Royals led 3-0 after five innings.  The Royals have lost nine-of-11.
