Local High School Sports-Monday, December 4th

Boys Basketball

Holt 65 Warrenton 55.  Randy McRoberts pumped in 16 points for the Warriors followed by Caleb Strauss with 15 points and eight rebounds.  Warrenton dips to 3-2 while Holt move to 2-2.

Missouri Military Academy 64 Owensville 56.  The Dutchmen were led by Cason Grey with 12 points and Sean Irwin with 11.  

New Haven 56 Bourbon 47.  The Shamrocks had three players in double figures with Ethan Groner pumping in 20 points and five rebounds.  John Fleer added 16 points and nine rebounds and Abe Madden chipped in 10 points as New Haven moved to 3-3.

Girls Basketball

Cuba drained a shot at the buzzer to edge St. James 43-41.  St. James was led by Savanna Riccetti with nine points and Bailey Wells with 10 rebounds.  The Tigers struggled to take care of the ball, committing 30 turnovers.  St. James is 2-1.

Steelville 54 Owensville 35

Sullivan 58 Waynesville 54 in overtime.  Clare Shetley posted a double-double with 25 points and 11 rebounds. Katie Creek added 11 points for the Eagles, now 5-0.

Pacific 63 Festus 36.  Grace Burrows led the Indians with 24 points.  Maddie King added 13 points and five rebounds.  Brocato chipped in 10 points and O'Neill pulled down eight rebounds.  Jenn Oetting paced Festus with 14 points.  Pacific moves to 5-0 while Festus drops to 0-6.
