Girls Basketball

Jackie Arnold drained four three pointers and scored 23 points leading Washington to a 46-27 win over the New Haven Shamrocks.  Nichole Brinker added 13 and Reese Arnold 10.  Washington shot 40 percent from the floor and committed just six turnovers in moving to 2-1.  New Haven struggled from the floor, shooting just 27 percent and turned it over 15 times.  Emily Scheer scored 11 for the Shamrocks, now 3-2.  Lauren Gerlemann attempted to play, but left early in the first quarter with the flu.  

Tolton-Catholic 51 Owensville 41

Warrenton 41 Elsberry 10

Union 52 Northwest 26.  Union is 3-3. Julia Overstreet scored 13 for Union followed by Taylor Seely with 11.

Hermann 44 Borgia 34.  Emma Godat and Quincy Erickson poured in 15 points apiece for Hermann.  They both pulled down five rebounds as well.  Brooke Grosse and Allison Stiers posted nine rebounds apiece for the Bearcats, now 5-0.  Borgia was led by Avery Lackey with nine points and Grace Gettemeier with nine rebounds.  Borgia slips to 2-2. 

Boys Basketball

Rolla 72 St. James 61.  St. James drops to 2-2.

Union 57 Cuba 43.  Trevor Kelly led the way for Union with 19 points.  Jacob Towell added 13 and Kale Crawford 12.  Union is 1-4 on the season. 

Lafayette 56 Pacific 50.  Cameron VanLeer posted a double-double with 22 points and 14 rebounds.  Brendon Boyd paced the Lancers with 14 points.  Pacific drops to 3-2 while Lafayette improves to 1-3. 

Hermann 46 Linn 35.  Trent Anderson led Hermann with 21 points followed by Chet Moeckli with 16.  The Bearcats move to 3-2.

Warrenton 73 Elsberry 65.  Warrenton hit 10 three pointers.  Brandon Molinari drained 21 points with Jake Tonioli adding 20, Caleb Strauss 12 and Randy McRoberts 10. The Warriors improve to 4-2
