Girls Basketball

South Callaway Tournament-Championship Semifinals-High School

Hermann 66 New Bloomfield 39 behind 16 points from Brooke Grosse.  She also pulled down 9 rebounds.  Quincy Erickson and Tess Schannuth added 12 points each.  Hermann moves to 11-2.

South Callaway remained undefeated with a 63-61 win over New Haven.  Lauren Gerlemann dropped in 22 points to go along with 11 rebounds. McKenzie Bauer added 12 and Emily Scheer 11.  New Haven drops to 7-5.

Consolation Semifinals-Middle School

North Callaway 47 Owensville 46.  North Callaway jumped out to an 18-9 first quarter lead and held on for the win. 

Warrenton Winter Classic-Consolation Semifinals

O'Fallon Christian 55 Moberly 51 in overtime

Hannibal 45 Duchesne 35

Championship Semifinals

Warrenton 59 Howell North 44.  Kayla Nelson scored 14 points and Miranda Nelson pulled down 7 rebounds to lead Warrenton

Eureka 80 Mexico 75 in quadruple overtime.

Girls Basketball away from the tournaments

Reese Arnold drained 18 points and Jackie Arnold followed with 12 lifting Washington to a 52-49 win over Pacific at the Bird Cage.  Nichole Brinker posted 8 points and 8 assists and Bria Hasenjaeger chipped in 9 for the Jays, now 7-5.  Pacific was led by Cori O'Neill with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Delia Toney added 12 and Grace Burrows 10.  The Indians drop to 8-5.

Girls Swimming

In swimming action, the Borgia girls took first place in every event against Bishop DuBourgh, winning by a final score of 118-48.  Senior Emily Reuwer and junior Evie Alferman each took a pair of firsts for the Knights--Reuwer in the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Backstroke, Alferman in the 50 and 100 Freestyle.
