Bobby Curnutte-Union Baseball

The KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week is Senior Baseball Player Bobby Curnutte with the Union Wildcats.

Bobby pitched a complete game three hitter with seven strike outs and three walks leading Union to a 4-0 conference win over Owensville Thursday affternoon.

Bobby is one of the top pitchers on the team. His record is 2-1 and he has given up just four runs on 17 hits through 26 and two/thirds innings pitched for a team low 1.05 earned run average. Bobby has allowed four doubles, but no triples or home runs. He has registered 25 strike outs and 17 walks so far this season.

When Bobby isn't pitching, he is used as the designated hitter. His .371 batting average is the highest on the team amoung regular starters and he is second on the team in rbi's with 12. He has two triples and five doubles with seven strike outs and six walks in 43 plate appearances. On base percentage .476, Slugging percentage .629.
