Accidents
Traffic accident in Franklin County sends an Illinois man to the hospital. The state patrol says it happened at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning on Eastbound Interstate 44 one half mile West of the Gray Summit exit. 36-year old Ryan Morgan of Makanda, Illinois was inattentive, failed to maintain his lane and drifted into the side of a tractor trailer. Morgan's car overturned and slid 800 feet before coming to rest. Morgan was taken to Mercy in Washington by Meramec Ambulance with minor injuries. 

Double fatal accident in Gasconade County Wednesday morning. The patrol says it happened on Highway 19 at Highway 100 in Hermann. 61 year old Cynthia Wolf of Gasconade was behind the wheel on Eastbound 100 when she failed to stop at a stop sign, traveled across Highway 19 and struck a rock bluff. Cynthia Wolf and her mother, 79 year old Anita Wolf of Gasconade, both died at the scene. The accident happened just before 11:30. Neither were buckled in.
