The wait for Shedeur Sanders will continue into Friday.  The Colorado quarterback did not get selected in the first round of the NFL draft.  The Giants, Saints and Steelers were considered ideal fits for the son of Hall of Famer Deion Sanders.  Shedeur was expected to be a Top-Three pick early in the draft process.

Borgia was held to 2 hits in a 1-0 loss at Helias.  Charlie Gildehaus pitched well in defeat.  He scattered 7 hits over 5 2/3 innings.  The Knights drop to 9-9.  The Crusaders improve to 6-10  

Union beat Rolla 3-2 on penalty kicks to improve to 8-6.  The Wildcats have won 4 straight.  

Sullivan 3 Osage 1

Union posted a 6-1 win at St. James to remain undefeated in the Four Rivers Conference.  Tucker Lemons started and pitched 5 innings for the win.  Logan Hansel closed it out.   The Wildcats move to 16-4 overall and 6-0 in conference.  

Vander Halford allowed 3 runs on 5 hits with 3 strikeouts and 3 walks over 5 innings leading Blair Oaks to a 6-3 win over Union.  He also posted 2 hits and scored a run for the Falcons, now 13-9.   Carson Rustemeyer closed it out for the save.  Kasey Griffin finished with 2 his and 2 runs for Union, 15-4.  He also pitched 6 innings with 7 strikeouts and 3 walks.  

Washington was held to 1 hit in a 12-0 5 inning loss to North Point.  The Blue Jays drop to 2-13 and 1-4.  The Grizzlies move to 14-6 and 4-1.  Washington used 4 pitchers.  Henry Vedder was the loser.

Rolla beat Washington 8-2.  The Blue Jays used 4 pitchers.  Caden Brocoto allowed 3 runs, 1 earned,  on 4 hits with 2 strikeouts and 2 walks over 4 innings in the loss.  Mason Theis posted 1 hit and 2 runs scored for Washington, now 2-12.   Rolla improves to 6-9.

Owensville 7 Chillicothe 4.  Matt Eckelkamp pitched 5 1/3 innings with 3 strikeouts and no walks.  Leyton Homeyer got two big outs with 1 strikeout and Adam Wilson posted the save.  Chase Weirich was 4 for 4 with a double.  Landon Kramme and Chris Allen with multiple rbi's.  

Owensville improves to 6-4 and is scheduled to play Moberly Saturday. 

Lane Kohlbusch posted 8 strikeouts and 2 walks over 5 2/3 innings leading Hermann to a 12-5 win at New Haven.  Charlie Tyree closed it out.  At the plate, Kohlbusch homered and  scored 3 runs, Tyree was 2 for 4 with 2 runs, 1 rbi and 3 stolen bases.  Chase Romig, Evan Towery and Cole Traub chipped in 2 hits each.  The Bearcats finished with 8 stolen bases.  Hermann improves to 6-9 and 1-4.  New Haven drops to 4-5 and 1-3.  

St. James 4 Vienna 2.  First win of the season for the Tigers, now 1-9.  Vienna is 7-4.  

Sullivan 4 St. Clair 1.  The Eagles move to 8-6 and 3-1.  St. Clair drops to 5-6 and 0-2. 

Hillsboro Tournament-Northwest 2 St. Clair 0.  Amelia Lawrence and Kayla Boyer scored for the Lions, now 8-1.  The Bulldogs slip to 2-6.  

Washington 8 Owensville 0.  The Blue Jays, now 8-6, have won 3 straight.  Owensville is 2-8.  

Sullivan 6 St. James 1.  Jada Adams, Tessa Newman and Ava Hayes scored 2 goals each for the Eagles, now 4-5.  St. James falls to 2-6.  

North Point beat Warrenton in 3.  The Grizzlies have won 13 straight and are now 16-3.  The Warriors drop to 3-7.  

Union scored 3 runs in the 7th inning to walk-off Pacific 4-3.  An error on a ground ball allowed Trenton Kossmann and Jake Browne to score.  Lane Miller pitched one inning of relief for the win and Gavin Haddox was the loser.  Both starters pitched well with Kasey Griffin posting 7 strikeouts over 5 innings and Jake Collier striking out 12 over 5 1/3. Connor Curnutte finished 2 for 3 with 1 rbi for Union.  Colton Kossuth led the Indians with 3 hits, 2 runs and 5 stolen bases.  Union improves to 15-3 overall and 4-0 in conference while Pacific falls to 6-2 and 3-1.  

State ranked Valley Park posted a 4-1 win at Borgia.  Hubbard was the winning pitcher.  The Hawks improve to 10-2 while Borgia drops to 8-7.  Braxtyn Frankenberg knocked in Henry Zeitzmann with Borgia's only run.  Kaleb Hoss pitched well in defeat.  

Fort Zumwalt East scored 2 runs in the first inning and held off Washington for a 2-1 win in St. Peters.  Carson Page allowed 1 run on 4 hits with 5 strikeouts and 4 walks over 5 innings for the win.  Kevin Morgan and Dominic Pandolfo finished with 1 hit and 1 rbi each.  The Lions improve to 9-5 and 3-1.  The Blue Jays, 2-11 and 1-3, were led by Nakai Scott, 2 for 3 with 1 rbi and Aiden Hopfensperger, 1 for 2 with a run scored.  Henry Vedder allowed 2 runs on 2 hits with 8 strikeouts over 6 innings in the tough-luck loss.  

Warrenton crushed Holt 19-1 at Carshield Field.  Jake Kirkpatrick allowed 1 earned run on 2 hits with 5 strikeouts and 4 walks over 6 innings on the mound.  Carter Martin was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 runs, 2 rbi and a stolen base.  Austin Haas 1 for 3 with 3 runs and Keegan Lehmkuhl was 2 for 4 with a double, 2 runs and 4 rbi.  Warrenton improves to 10-4 and 3-1.  The Indians are 2-8 and 0-4.  

Borgia played in the Warrenton Invitational and finished 8th among 15 teams with a score of 335.  Low score-Connor Brown-77.

Carter Hollingsworth allowed 2 runs on 5 hits with 10 strikeouts and 4 walks over 5 1/3 innings leading Fort Zumwalt East to a 12-2 win at Washington.  Jackson Bingham, Carson Topping and Dominic Pandolfo all posted 3 hits.  Bingham scored 2 runs with 1 rbi, Topping 3 runs and 2 rbi and Pandolfo 3 rbi for the Lions, now 8-5 and 2-1.  Washington drops to 2-10 and 1-2.  Colton Carrier was 2 for 3 with 1 rbi and Henry Vedder was 1 for 3 with 1 rbi.  Mason Theis was the losing pitcher.  

Carter Martin pitched a 5 inning no hitter with 13 strikeouts and 4 walks leading Warrenton to a 11-0 win over Holt.  Colin Disilvester led the offense going 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 runs and 2 rbi.  Warrenton moves to 9-4 and 2-1.  The Indians drop to 2-7 and 0-3.  

Hermann bashed Community R-6 17-4.  Lane Kohlbusch was 2 for 3.  Cole Traub 3 for 5 with 3 rbi and Braden Schutt 2 for 4 with 4 rbi.  Traub pitched a complete game with 10 strikeouts for the Bearcats, now 5-9.

The New Haven Shamrocks improve to 4-4 with a 5-3 win over Calvary Lutheran.  Calvary drops to 3-5.

Chase Weirich logged 3 hits, including a home run into the creek leading the Owensville Dutchmen to a 4-0 win over St. Clair.  Zaiden Gates, Jaden Gerlemann and Jansen Loeb had 2 hits each.  Weirich struck out 11 over 6 scoreless innings and Matt Eckelkamp closed it out.  Owensville moves to 5-4 and 2-1.  St. Clair, now 4-5 and 0-1, has lost 4 straight.

Borgia went on the road and posted a 7-3 9 inning win at Lutheran South.  Borgia scored 2 in the 7th to tie it and 4 in the 9th.  Lane Mallinkrodt pitched 7 innings with 4 strikeouts and 6 walks in a no-decision.  Freshman Cash Chartrand pitched 1 inning of relief for the win.  Kaleb Hoss hit a 3 run homer.  Alex Griffin 1 hit 2 runs and 2 rbi and Jayce Keeler 2 doubles, 2 runs and 1 rbi.  Borgia improves to 8-6.  Kannon French was the loser.  The Lancers drop to 6-7-3.

Washington snapped a 5 game losing streak with a 4-0 win at Festus.  The Blue Jays improve to 6-6.  Festus is 8-1.

Lindbergh shutout Union 2-0 to improve to 3-5-1.  Union drops to 4-6.
