The Johnnie Brock's Party Store Athlete of the Week is Senior Forward-Emma Thompson-St. Clair Bulldogs.

In three games in the Valley Park Tournament, Emma scored 49 points, pulled down 25 rebounds and posted 17 steals leading the Bulldogs to the Championship. Emma was named the MVP.

Season Stats-Emma is averaging 12.1 points, 8.5 rebounds and 4 steals per game.

Four year varsity starter and two year team captain.

Three sport athlete-Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer.

GPA-3.2

Favorite Class-Weight Training.

Emma plans to attend Cosmetology School.

The Johnnie Brock’s Party Store Athlete of the Week is Senior Captain Sophia Sullentrup-Borgia Swim Team.

Team Captain

Sophia finished 15th in the 50 Free at the COMO Invitational Friday and Saturday.

She was also a part of the 200 and 400 Free Relays which finished 12th and 13th respectively.

Another season highlight at the Fort Zumwalt Invitational. Sophia medaled 2nd in the 50 Free and 3rd in the 100 Free and was a part of the 200 and 400 relays that captured 1st.

At the Ladue Invite, she finished 2nd in the 50 free & 3rd in 100 free.

Main Events: 50 Free and 100 Free. 200 Relay and 400 Relay. She will occasionally swim the 100 Breaststroke.

State Qualifier Freshman, Sophomore and Junior years.

Has won at least one event in every dual & tri-meet this season.

GPA: 3.77

Academic All State 2024 & a Honors student.

Favorite Subjects: Math and Biology.

Plans to attend the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and study Accounting.

The Johnnie Brock's Party Store Athlete of the Week is 6-4 Senior Forward-Harry Mitchell-St. Francis Borgia High School in Washington.


Mitchell logged 20 points and 8 rebounds in Borgia's 65-51 win over Hillsboro Friday night.

Season Stats 9.1 points and 8.6 rebounds per game.

Mitchell has tremendous leaping ability.

Early season highlight-Harry posted 7 points and 10 rebounds helping Borgia take the consolation game over the host Warriors in the St. Charles West Tournament. He pulled down 13 rebounds in a win over Ritenour in the same tournament.

He logged a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds against Confluence in the Borgia Tournament.

Three Sport Athlete: Soccer, Basketball, and Track and Field.

GPA 3.4

Favorite Subject: Business

Plans to run Track in College

The Johnnie Brock’s Party Store Athlete of the Week is 6-3 Junior Guard Colin Briggs-Washington Blue Jays.

Colin had a big week in the Washington Tournament.

In the first round win over St. Charles, Briggs posted 14 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals.

In the semifinal against Borgia, Colin logged 8 points, 4 rebounds and 4 steals.

In the 3rd Place game against Pattonville, Briggs filled the stat sheet with a double-double, 11 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals.

Season Stats: 5.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals per game.

GPA: 3.95

Favorite Course Work: Math, Weight Training, Team Sports.

Career Path: Colin plans to attend college, join the ROTC Program and earn a degree in Criminology.

After college, he plans to join the Air Force for 20 years, then pursue a career with the FBI or as a CSI.
