The Taco Bell Athlete of the Week is Emily Schwoeppe-Junior-Washington Basketball.

Coach Adam Meyer-"Emily attended St. Vincent Elementary School and became a Blue Jay three seasons ago.

Her freshman year, she played JV, developing her skills.

Last season, as a sophomore, Emily was the first player off the bench. She played well the second half of the season and averaged 3.1 points and 3 rebounds per game.

This season, Emily has really stepped up her game. She is a varsity starter averaging 9.7 points, 6 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game. She is a team leader in all three categories.

Emily draws one of the other teams best defenders and is one of the team captains.

I'm really excited to see what she can do in the second half of this season."

GPA:3.8

The Taco Bell Athlete of the Week is 5-9 Senior Guard-Demetrius Lockett-Washington Basketball.

Coach Tim Isgrig-"D is our starting senior point guard. For the season, he is averaging 11 PPG and 3.1 APG.

Lockett is also averaging 15.5 PPG in the GAC Central, 5th in conference.

Demetrius has been in double figures 9 times this season, including a career high 28 points against Fort Zumwalt South when he went 11 for 13 from the field and 6 for 7 outside the arc.

He also scored 17 points in the second half against Pacific to help close out that game.

Demetrius also leads the team in charges taken.

He is a senior leader."

Coach Isgrig adds "Demetrius is a good candidate for a Juco basketball program."

Had a career high 18 against Summit and 17 against Zumwalt South with five 3's

The Taco Bell Athlete of the Week on KLPW Radio is 6-7 Junior Center Bryce Collins-St. Francis Borgia Basketball.

In Three games in the Union Tournament last week

Collins posted 24 points and 6 rebounds in a first round win over Lebanon.

In the semifinal, Collins logged 14 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals in a win over Lift for Life.

In the championship game against Sikeston, he finished with 4 points and 5 rebounds.

He made the All Tournament Team.

Season Stats:

7.8 points, 6 rebounds, 1.57 assists and 1.29 blocks per game.

Bryce is involved in Campus Ministry.

GPA: 3.08

The Taco Bell Athlete of the Week is Cam Servais-6-5 Junior Guard-Union Basketball.

Servais led Union in two victories last week.

In the 56-41 win over Steelville, he posted 16 points, hit 2 three pointers, he was 4 for 6 from the line, pulled down 6 rebounds, doled out 3 assists, had 1 steal and 1 block.

In the 56-53 win over New Haven, Cam logged 19 points, hit 1 three pointer, he was 2-for-4 from the line, pulled down 6 rebounds and had 4 assists.

Season Stats 14 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists per game.

Season Highlights Cam was named to the Borgia and Owensville All Tournament Teams.

He scored a career high 39 points at Potosi.

Servais has been a varsity starter since his Freshman year.

Career Stats 770 points 402 rebounds 215 assists 90 three pointers

GPA: 3.6

Favorite Subjects: History/Practical Arts.

Cam stays active away from school and sports. He enjoys working out and hanging out with his family.
